I bought mine the moment this video came out and I learned about it. It’s super cool I highly recommend it! Getting a Gameboy color with a modern display and battery that’s made from brand new parts that doesn’t require you to modify and old Gameboy is an excellent way to have old Gameboy’s and games and also get to enjoy them in a newer, cleaner way. I think the price is fair as well, I only paid around $90 with tax and shipping.

I bet you could get some of the Troublesome cartridges to work if you just used some stove top cleaner on the connectors

Yeah I’ve had mine a couple weeks now, almost every cart I have works. With the exceptions of both of my GameSharks and my mega memory card. But if I really want to change something I can just throw a cart in my GB operator fix it on my pc and then swap the save back.

Not for me.
I built my GameBoy advance from scratch, and I built it precisely four while I’m recovering from surgery in the hospital, so it is medical grade and it doesn’t interfere with the medical equipment but now I’m no longer in hospitals so it’s just a good GameBoy advance with an IPA screen

Yeah it’s a FPGA which basically means it’s a system that can clone other systems (well in simple terms)

With the anbernic existing, there is no need for one of those. I have a device that looks almost the exact same as gameboy that has well over 10, 000 games. It’s got gameboy, gba, gbc, nds, psp, nes, as well as a bunch of other console brands I haven’t heard of. Comes with a second SD slot so you can add you own emulated games to it. And, idk who would want to, but you can hook it up to your tv and play it through that. And it’s only $80.
