Or why robin never told Luffy about sabo being alive since sabo is 2 in command of the revolution and he got his memory back after ace died

it makes sense why robin didn’t learn haki and probably won’t learn haki for the rest of the series is because she’s not a fighter and the primary way to improve haki is through battle experience it makes more sense for her to get stronger in some other way like awakening her devil fruit and wasn’t the whole reason she never learned sabo’s dragon claw technique was because she wasn’t much of a fighter and went for smth that was more suited to her like fish man karate

I've Always thought Robin had observation haki from the beginning. Through the story, she has shown many times to be able to create hands out of her direct sight

1. Robin doesn’t need to learn haki.
2. Franky did learn a lot from his island. He learned a new form of metal and made weapons, his specialty. He wasn’t interested in vegapunk himself.
3. Brook after the timeskip was always either doing recon by hiding himself or went to places where they didn’t give a crap about him.

Biggest fumble was getting rid of Robin’s bangs

Honestly yes… only things ever mentioned were like perona and Zoro’s thing going on, the Usopp upgrades and Sanji knows Ivankov… other than that, it’s weird that he put the others in unique situations just for it to never get brought up again

The big issue for me is, with a much larger crew, they all get less individual screentime. And then Oda focuses so much on piles of side characters.

Well in terms of Brooks situation, he was either disguised, or never really anywhere for a period of time to be recognized post time skip. There was 1 time in the beginning of Fishman Island where he laid a couple of groupie mermaids, but that was it.

Robin didn't want to learn haki since she doesn't fight that way, and she still could be aligned with the RA.

The only place we went to that had peace so far with Brooke was Fishman island, everywhere else Brooke was hidden, on the ship, on route to big mom and WAS recognized several times by big mom.


Franky wouldn't have learned much sadly, as vegapunk only had his inventions there for his younger life (before he started working for the wg)

I feel this is prevalent with Usopp, Sabaody ended with him established as a tactical genius who came in clutch, now he has like three types of ammunition that all do virtually nothing to anyone with a bounty higher than 50 mill

Imo the time skip was a mistake. I think it was a gimmick of the time (I remember Naruto did it too). No strawhat changed in a meaningful way, except Franky and Chopper (and they both changed in a bad way).

Really, the only event that needed time to pass to occur was the admiral fight at punk hazard.

I think it would have been more exciting for Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji to have learned haki during a battle. It was certainly hype when Usopp first unlocks observation.

If they had to be trained, Rayleigh could have sailed with them for a while or something like that.
