I forgot how many times i replayed until finished (maybe 5 or 6 times) this awesome pc game, the game that pulled me to pc gaming, and the game that make YOU always want to upgrade your GPU. In fact this game was also responsible for increased sales of NVIDIA and AMD GPU at that time. Simply one of the BEST PC Shooter of all time! Now excuse me, i want to finish this game again :D

This was my first video game on the PC ever. I was 7 and already had an XBOX and I went to WalMart and saw the cover for this game. I got my dad to buy it because it looked like the back pictures had giant electro scorpions or some shit coming out of the ground.

Needless to say, the mission "Core" I think (the one after you just slay mao zedong lmao) freaks the shit out of me to this day. Also, Crysis made me fucking despise Helicopters.

Best game I've ever played up there with Morrowind.

open level design, no objective timelimits, endless strategic possibilties, ingame weapon customisation, stand, crouch and layin down positions, (almost) realistic passage of tod, very good ai (at least on "hard"), a physics engine from beyond good and evil and till this day one of the best graphics ive ever seen...

and my review is based on the "NON MODDED" version of it...
if u combine some texture, particle and gameplay mods,
ur in GAMING HEAVEN...

Graphics got to this level and just stayed here. Some minor improvements here and there, but this is about as good as it got - even 14 years later.
