Mode in Biostatistics:

Definition: The mode is a measure of central tendency in biostatistics that represents the value that appears most frequently in a dataset.
Formula: There's no specific formula for calculating the mode. It's simply the value with the highest frequency.
Example Calculation: Exam scores of 10 students: 85, 90, 78, 85, 92, 78, 85, 88, 90, 92. The mode is 85, as it appears the most times (3 times).
Advantage: Easily identifies the most common value, giving insight into the central peak of the data distribution.
Limitation: May not exist (no value appears more than once), or there could be multiple modes. It's also less informative for continuous data where the likelihood of the exact same value occurring multiple times is low.
