They are rear engine not mid engine. Mine is a 76. Good v rated Tires are impossible to find.

While I’m not a fan of the 996 (because of the narrow body and interior) the 996 Turbo will always transcend any 996 negativity. It’s a great car. My dream car in a 991.2 GT3 RS. I really want to take my first steps into the Porsche brand this year with a 997.1 Carrera S.

And I get your thoughts on Datsun vs Porsche. In a 996 Turbo you don’t really stick out among other 911 owners, but in that Datsun you’re easily recognized.

The Carrera SC is so gorgeous! One of my dreams is to rebuild one with some Magnus Walker design wheels and momo steering wheel. That's basically what keeps me living right now.

Only the boxster is mid engine, the SC and 996 are rear engine.

Alex, I've always wondered how would bilstein shock absorbers with bags perform on track. Would it be way worse than good coilovers or would it be just fine for a non-pro driver on the track. Ever thought about a setup like that?
