Tutorial was so helpful. Taking in a green sequin dress for my niece. Appreciate all the tips in this Tutorial, as this material is not something I have worked with before

Great show & explanations. You have prepared me to take in my friend’s sequel dress that she is wearing to her granddaughter’s wedding. Thank you! Flora

I just thrifted this beautiful green sequin gown and the bust is way too large. I’ve altered quite a few things but never anything with sequins or embellishments, so it’s been very nerve racking - but your tutorial rocks!! Thank you for really going in depth with every step 🌞🫶🪡

Remember to remove your fabric marking before using the glue so you dont accidentally trap the colour! Love this tutorial - am even inspired to sew with beaded or sequined fabric now!

Great video. Makes me want to find a beaded or sequined item from resale shop. So smart to wear glasses while sewing to protect eyes.

Great tutorial! Daughter just got a beautiful beaded gown for prom that needs taken from a 12 to a 2 and I was about to just pray and sew.

amazing video! what about if you want to preserve the beading in case you want to let it back out eventually? Is it possible to sew over the beads or would that break the needle?

Very helpful session. If one can't take in the sides of a dress that is one size too big because of the beaded lace on the bodice (no side seams so if you did take in the sides it would disrupt the pattern of the beaded lace), can the beaded dress be taken in at the zipper to fit the body?

I’m curious about taking in the arms too. What if the shoulders and arms are too big? Use same method? This is soooo helpful thank you.

Can you please tell me what your stitch length and with was? And were you using your feet dog at all?

i just bought this dress from windsor for homecoming and the dress doesn’t fit me well and the beads are connected everywhere, it’s also double layered, i’m scared if i cut the beads it’s gonna fall everywhere, will this method work?

Can this method also be used to shorten a needed dress?

I was always under the impression that once you clip the threads all the beading will unravel is this true?

Hi, I have a heavily embellished dress but I want to square the neckline out as it's too round atm. Can this be done? I'm worried about the free edge of the new neckline showing as I don't know where it could be hidden and sewn back to the lining? Sorry I don't have the first clue about this, so might've explained poorly, can pm with images of the dress to see what I'm saying. Thank you :)

I need advice please. I just bought a white beaded blouse that has a few dark colored beads that stand out to me. I want to replace them as I have replacement beads but I’m afraid of it unraveling when I go to remove them. I’m not even sure it would. I just don’t have any experience with this sort of thing so I’m unsure. I can’t seem to find any video’s on how to do it and I don’t want to ruin this beautiful blouse. Any help would be very appreciated.

I have a beaded dress but the beads are loose and keep falling off. I am nervous about trying to fix it myself. What is the best way to reattach them so they are secure?

What does a job like this cost? What can I expect to pay?

I'm in a pickle currently. I have to " let out" on the sides of a sequin dress. The problem is, it's raveling & also I cannot let out all the way down on the sides because it has a waist stitch & not just one long side stitch. It also has a lining which is plain color. This is for a client that ordered the dress from online, so there's no extra sequin fabric except from where I got a little from cutting the bottom part shorter. This client also doesn't want me to turn the back of the dress into a corset for her to get into. Not sure what to do?
