There’s not really that much difference, I prefer how the faber-castell looks, but how the prismacolors were easier to blend

For those of you that are wondering:
Faber castells and prismacolours are overall the same, but there are minor differences between them.
Prismacolours are wax-based meaning they are easier to blend with, and are overall softer.
Faber Castells are Polychromos-based, meaning they are a bit harder, so they are more meant for detailed drawings.
Price: Prismacolours are way cheaper. I'm pretty sure a 150 set for Prismacolours are around $100-200 (depending on where you live) and Faber Castells are wayyy more expensive $500-600 for a 120 set.

I like they way the prisma colour looks for the strawberry I think it looks more like a few days old strawberry which I like better then fresh- idk why- anyways but then I like the faber castell for the chocolate ;-;

I actually like faber castell more now cause they have an oil based, therefore more dry and harder formula . I dont really enjoy the buttery smooth wax based pencils cause I'm kinda heavy handed and well they wont last long .

In college, we used faber-castell pencils to draw microscopic slides for our Pathology, Biology, etc. subjects! And boy did I use a heck ton of them, I probably had 4 sets of pencils because my blues, purples, reds, pinks, yellows, and oranges get used up so much 😆

I feel like the colors in prismacolour are more vibrant and easier to blend. Either way, I love your drawings, I appreciate your effort!

Prisma colors are my goto color pencils. Blending is easier and when I brush on alcohol it smooths the service so much better.

Always going to be prismacolors for the win. But depending on what look you're going for for an artwork if you want to blend easily you want personal colors but you've want a strong nice crisp edging and coloring you want the other ones

I have recently started working with color pencils, I find prismacolor easier for beginners bc it blends easily.

❤️Faber Castell because I am a bit on the heavier handed side and nothing I've tried has got me not to be heavy handed. I love prismacolor but would break to much for me so ya, but I love both. They are both so beautiful. I recently came across to budget brands one dali, and one star joy both oil based I also love them. Dail remind me of polychromos, and star joy to me is like polychromos, and prismacolor had a baby. Those budget brands aren't light fast tested though.

You should say the Faber castell ones are polychromos, otherwise people might think they are just regular Faber castell colour pencils
