One of my favourite things that happened to me was when I went to universal studios and saw the Knight Bus. They had one of those talking heads, and I think there must have been someone hidden in the bus somewhere with a peep hole because we had a full conversation. It was brilliant.

The Shrunken Head was Awesome I loved his role in the movie a couple years ago me and a friend of mine were on a carnival ride that spins around like crazy with manual control and we kept saying his lines. Also the ride was purple

I remember when my dad got the original Lego Knight Bus for my birthday back in 2004.

I'm still the proud owner of that set many years later!

Was kind of sad I missed out on the previous versions but this is definitely an improvement; this is just such an interesting vehicle that my interest in it is independent of having anything Harry Potter themed. The plus side to it being redesigned so many times is it makes the previous versions cheaper, especially used, which makes them great parts packs to get this grape purple color, which is usually not very common in Lego.


I really want to pick this up, as it's just such a ridiculous (in a good way) vehicle that it would make a great display piece, something eye-catching in my city despite not being realistic at all.

Great review Jang! Love what you said about the grill sticker. If no built-grill, certainly a print please Lego. Also, super-pleased about the new 3x3x1 windows. LOVE mid-kid-legs! And purple is my favorite color! Gonna try to get this for 30 Euros. Hope you are rich from GoogleTube by now. Keep up the good work sir!

Great review as always. Thanks alot. Just a small bit of info, the knight bus from the films is actually an RT class bus type from 1939, the Routemaster wasnt built until 1954 and had a much lower and wider radiator, not really important, but anyways.
