Is this type of rope rough on the skin of toddlers? If so, have you tried using a 3 Strand Nylon rope? I'm curious if the slices would hold up as well or if they would slide around.

Hi again :) I was wondering if there’s a way I can contact you directly with some questions I have while making my net for my kids. My splices seem to be sliding when you put pressure on them and I’m not sure what is wrong. I Was hoping to share a video or picture with you for advice. Is there a way on YouTube I can do this ?

Is it possible to use this splice without tying the sides ? I want the net to hang from the top only and fall freely. I was thinking to weave individual cut ropes horizontally but I’m not sure how to prevent the sides from sliding out. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
