To add on the red card rule; if a player from the starting XI is sent off before kickoff he may be replaced by another player as he has not yet participated in the game.

Another interesting one is if a team scores and they all celebrate back in their own half, the team that conceded can take kick off immediately as the restart can only be done when the opposition are back in their own half of the pitch.

1. You also can't score an own goal from throw in
2. Goalkeeper can wear tracksuit pants
3. Player can refuse a sub out
4. You can pass in penalty kick
5. You can't do a rebound shoot in penalty kick if the ball hit the post. You can if the ball hit the goalkeeper.

I knew about the second rule. I remember playing Fifa 98, back then you could tackle a player who didnt even have the ball. After the 5th player received a red card, the match was immediately lost 🤣

To add to #1, players can also be carded after the match is over.

You can also be sent off with a red card after the game has ended if you and the referee are still in uniform. In fact, this rule applies for any point the day of the match.

Technically any explicative, threat, or insult falls under the "foul language" rule and is entirely cardable.

Yup, I have in fact heard about those rules before. Goal kick is also treated as a free kick and goalie can't score an own goal directly from it

Because In the finals of World Cup 2018 Mandzukic scored an own goal and it was a goal not a corner
