Toyota ought to move to direct drive CVT from direct shift CVT.

Where the ISG from a mild hybrid takes over drive during stalling speeds, allowing the ICE to be paired directly to the CVT without having to go through the torque converter.

Belt driven. Belt wears out and then lots of dollars I would imagine.

Good Work Toyota, your Customers in Africa Love Them especially when they are Paired to a V6, V8 and V12 American Specification Cars. Though i must remark that, they are gonna have a Though Time Repairing Those CVT Auto Gearboxes with a Bag Full Of Spanners. Also half decent parts for Automatic Transmissions are too Expensive, Too Expensive For Third World Customers...! Scale Back on Manufacture Of Automatic Cars before Electric Cars become the Norm. It will make Motoring more affordable in General...! 🤔🤔😇😇🌈🌈
