Finally, a video that’s explains Fusion 360 the best. I was a draftsman way back with Autocad 2000, creating shop drawings for a conveyor co. I want to learn 3d modeling for 3d printing. Thank you !

Awesome video. I'm new to fusion 360 and couldn't ever figure out how to swit he'd between the second dimension on a sketch. Thanks for saying you could tab between them. One of many helpful tips in this video.

Starting an extrude from a sketch at a certain distance! Holy moly!

I'll try to taper more often instead of loft.

Thank you!

Tyler, Thanks again for your thorough coverage of the extrude command. Every one of your videos have been helpful to me. I really struggled when I first started F360 and your tutorials really helped me understand the basics. I was (pretty) good at Inventor and what really threw me off was the method of building assemblies in F360 compared to building parts first in inventor. Again, thank you very much for your help. Now it is coffee time.

Tyler, I created an object on a sketch plane, like you did with a box and a center box, where you extruded only the outside. In my case it was a small circle in a larger circle and I extruded everything except the small circle, thereby creating a hole in my object of the larger circle. I've done a number of other modifications to the larger circle and found my small circle needs to move out of the way. The circle is still on my sketch but I want to move it while I'm working with my body. Is this possible? If I go to my sketch and move it will this translate back to my extruded body? Thanks for all your fine work. It's very helpful. Hopefully, you'll see this question and reply. Thanks again.

Good one, thanks. I’m just missing if I get into some trouble later on or loose some options if I use lofts and sweeps instead.

How to extrude crossing profiles as profiles, but note crossing areas? I have a circle and a gear with same diameter on the same sketch, how to select just one profile?

Ive had several projects where I wanted to extrude at an angle thats not normal / perpendicular to the sketch plane. It's been really annoying and i dont know how to solve that

so, I followed what you said, but when I go to extrude the menu on the side opens but I don't have the blue arrow and can't figure out how to manipulate the shape.

Is there really people out there that know how to lift and sweep but not extrude?
