The Actual Demolition Process | #DevDocs

Показать описание
Steve Wallis of Gilpin Demolition discusses the demolition programme for Deer Park Inn, Devon.
Most people assume demolition involves wrecking balls and sledgehammers with a group of workers simply tearing a building apart. But modern methods are far more considerate and controlled, with roughly 90% of the material being recycled.
To achieve that, buildings are taken apart using a grabber, sorted into appropriate pieces and then recycled.
On the Deer Park Inn we also have the slight delay caused by a large volume of asbestos. Which has to be removed by hand, packaged separately and disposed of at specialist facilities.
