★ホンダ S800 クーペに関して
Sシリーズの第3弾として1966年1月から1970年5月の間に生産され、それまでと同様に京浜精機製作所製の4連CVキャブレターと、等長エキゾーストマニホールドを装備している。
ボディータイプもS600と同様の、オープンとシューティングブレーク風のクーペがあった。
駆動方式はFR、当初はチェーンドライブ方式であったが、後にコイルスプリングと4リンク+パナールロッドのリジッドアクスルの組み合わせに変更された。
直列4気筒 DOHCエンジンは791ccの排気量から、最高出力7
0PS/8,000rpm、最大トルク6.7kgf•m/6,000rpmを発揮し、4速MTにより最高速度160km/hに達した。

★ Honda S800 Coupe
The third series of the S series was produced between January 1966 and May 1970, and is equipped with a 4-unit CV carburetor manufactured by Keihin Seiki Seisakusho and an isometric exhaust manifold as before.
The body type also had an open and shooting break style coupe similar to the S600.
The drive system was FR, initially the chain drive system, but later it was changed to a combination of a coil spring and 4-link + Panard rod rigid axle.
The inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine has a maximum output of 7 from a displacement of 791cc.
It demonstrated 0PS / 8,000rpm, maximum torque 6.7kgf • m / 6,000rpm, and reached a maximum speed of 160km / h by 4-speed MT.
