I’m crying my eyes out (tears of joy) this is so healing for countless native people like me. The thought of knowing a young native girl is gonna watch this and see someone like HER on tv is healing pieces of my inner child 😭😭😭😭😭

I'm white, I'm old, I'm ready to hear stories I haven't heard before, and I'm SO in. Looking forward to this!

Finally something different. Sick of the same old boring crap where everyone looks the same, talks the same, acts the same. Never seen a story like this and excited to watch it! Also I'm Indian so can relate to the last joke as I usually get people speaking Spanish to me thinking I'm Mexican 😂

I watched this on CBC Gem and it's my new favourite thing. I don't know how to put this, but this show feels like being alive. The characters feel like people you know (really subtle and lived-in performances), the sense of place and community is strong, it's funny and hopeful but also stays with difficult emotions. It's advertised as a comedy, and it IS hilarious, with family-sitcom aspects and workplace-found-family sitcom aspects, but it's also a bit surreal and ambiguous, in the vein of shows like Atlanta and Better Things. It's so good.

I just came from working a month way up north in the arctic in the hamlet of Aklavik and absolutely loved my time there. Was a great experience. Im a saskatchewan Indigenous and was blown away at the range of the Indigenous people we have here

I've watched so many movies, tv shows and this is what I love watching most , I'm aboriginal and can relate to most of the show . Real circumstances, real lives and perspectives . I've lived almost the same and have had similar experiences within the community , we always need someone who can hold community together . Bring generations together , it's who we are , circle of life. Our people are a reflection of us . Our communities are us .

This has the most beautiful landscapes known to man. It is no wonder that people often stare just to behold of its sight.

As an American who has visited Iqaluit, I'm super stoked to see this! Can't wait to watch every episode. Kudos to all who took this idea and ran with it - there needs to be more like this

Every now and then I fall down a YouTube rabbit-hole of "day in my life living in the Arctic" videos. This series was made for me 😭

At a time when we Canadians are in fear of losing our sovereignty, it's great to see a show like this, exposing an important, but often overlooked part of our culture being promoted on Netflix.

I am from Las Vegas and the furthest north I have ever been is New York and I was miserable. Its so fascinating to me that there are people out there who actually live like this. Gonna binge this the day it comes out.

YES! More indigenous stories with authentic representation! This is one of the best things about recent television, and I hope it continues. So many excellent shows in the last few years! My 3 favorites so far are Reservation Dogs, Dark Winds, and Rutherford Falls. 👏👏👏

This is a masterpiece. I already binge watched it and now that comes to Netflix I'm gonna recommend it to everyone. It brightens your day. The heartfelt story, the genuine performances, the way you feel for the characters, the cinematography, the things you learn for Inuit People in such a subtle way through the story telling. It is so different and so well done compared to everything else on Netflix! I totally recommend it 10/10
