FIRST LOOK! Liverpool Women arrive at new home as Melwood re-opens

The Liverpool FC Women squad took a tour of the West Derby complex, which will now be their base on a day-to-day basis.

Welcome home Liverpool Football Club. We’re going to see new icons, new legends, new heroines, new stories and most definitely new songs to sing. A new generation of fans climbing up on the fences and watching on from the houses to watch the mighty reds train. It’s also the home of The Liverpool Foundation and Fowler Academy. It started with The Boot Room Six, Shanks, Paisley, Moran, Bennet, Paisley, Fagan and Saunders. The Boot Room legacy continues all these years later, now with the women’s team. We have a state of the art facility within a building that is one of the most iconic in World Football and steeped in history. We have an academy structure that’s is now thriving and will be as strong as The Boot Room Six created all those years ago. We won Two Super League titles in 2013 and 2014. It’s time to add to that collection with more league titles, The FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and the Club World Cup. YNWA
