This and Outlaw Torn, two gems that don't get played enough. Such beauties.

Seriously one of the best songs James has ever written.

When therapy fails, antidepressants don't work, and you feel it's over, this song brings you back to life. Thanks James for answering Lars' classified in The Recycler.

Don’t stop playing this song. We love it too. Please continue to blend in more Load/Reload stuff into your set. And thank you for releasing the proshot of Bleeding Me, it’s my favorite Metallica song

A song too personal and deep for James Hetfield. It is a miracle that with all the bad that happened in his life he is still alive. he is a really tough guy.

I will leave a few words from James in an interview in 2001 where he explains this song and why he composed it.

“I felt I wanted to stop drinking around the time of ‘Load.’ ‘Perhaps I’m missing something.’ Everyone else appears to be constantly happy. ‘I’d like to be happy.’ ‘The Misfits are playing in town Friday night, so Saturday is hangover day, ’ I’d tell myself. I’ve missed a lot of days in my life.I learned a lot about myself after a year of therapy. When you’re growing up, there are a lot of things that scare you for no apparent reason. That’s what the song ‘Bleeding Me’ is about: I was trying to bleed out all the bad, to get the evil out. I discovered some heinous things in there while in therapy. A blemish.” James Hetfield.

Some people might hate this because it's not fast thrash metal from the 80's, but I think it's pure genius!

I think people who love this song are of a different breed, and I am one of them.

We all agree that this is a great song but, can we take a moment to appreciate how good is James’s voice sounding in this tour??? All of the songs this channel is uploading are simply the best James has sounded in years!!! I’m grateful for having watched them live in Madrid this past July 6th!! AMAZING

A beautiful song from load, they should play more songs from this album, The Outlawn Torn, Hero Of The Day or Thorn Within.

One of the most therapeutic song ever written by James. I really hope to hear this song live, no matter how many years it will take…
“This thorn in my side is from the tree I’ve planted, oh it tears me and I bleed…”

Hetfield nailed this song and every note. I think his voice has actually gotten better over the years.

Load/Reload should have a dedicated S&M-like performance. Those great songs deserve a live performance

This was my dads favorite Metallica song. I was lucky enough to see them live with him 3 times. He unfortunately passed away yesterday. Rest in Peace Dad, I love you and I hope you're blasting this song up there ❤ I'll sing my heart out for you when I see them again 🤘
