As an historical addendum, the White House actually came under attack by British forces invading during the War of 1812 when hostilities broke out between the two countries. This occurred in 1814, and the British actually set fire to the structure. At the time, President Madison was absent, but his wife, Dolley, managed to flee before the attack. To this day there are some portions of the foundation which are still stained from that blaze.

Is Amanda the only person that has videos that you want to react to? Awhile ago I suggested this video shortly after President Motorcade. Some facts u may enjoy: recently a toddler slipped through the fence at the White House n was returned to parents who were embarrassed My co-worker ( RN) was taking a day shift in the OR ( I wasn't lucky that day, worked in ER) Well there was an emergency call to several surgeons to prepare for surgery on a person with a gun shot wound ( they were not told who the person was) Well soon they found out that it was President Regan ( attempted assassination) Well as he was wheeled in the OR along came 8 secret service men dressed in OR gowns. Before Regan was put under he said to the head surgeon " I hope you are Republican" Then the surgery started. As a circulating nurse my friend assisted with handing the instruments the surgeon asked for. It all went well until he said " Gun" n all secret service men were up next to surgeon with their guns pointed at him. The surgeon said" we say gun meaning staple gun to close up incision" The surgeon said his heart skipped a beat n he started to shake. When Regan heard what happened he invited the surgeon to a White House dinner. Long time ago a man landed a helicopter on the White House lawn( he was flying under radar )Well he was surrounded by guards n dogs n of course arrested. I know several other facts but won't bore u lol😊For some reason I can't get thru to become a Patreon. I will keep trying. Love your reactions. You are one of my top 5 favorite channels ❤😊

I remember reading Dave Grohl's book and when they were setting up on the White House's lawn they were told to make sure they used the restrooms bc there was Secret Service in the bushes and they couldn't be seen but didn't want to be peed on. I thought it was funny.

I was doing a lot of running around yesterday so I'm only getting to this now.
As was mentioned in other comments I'm sure there are a slew of security measures that the general will never know about as well.
The Secret Service has to have one of the most stressful jobs on the planet.
A trivia fact:
The room is called the Lincoln bedroom because it of his former office and where his autopsy was performed.

Hi Dexter Fletcher & his friend. I always thought one of the safety features was that they had Predators with invisibility cloaking roaming the grounds & they could splatter an intruders head like a watermelon with one well placed shoulder cannon shot? Cos if they haven't then the president should seriously consider hiring some.😏
