I just don't know about all this. Something doesn't seem right about it. What the heck are the School Police doing? Isn't that their responsibility? I mean, they are an agency specifically designated to protect and patrol the schools! Is it just me or does anyone see that this may not be making any sense at all.

Civilians? No such thing as a civilian armed government officer/agent. Why are they using that term? Seems fishy. Plus these guardians work for the School Police now, the definition of civilian is "a person not in the armed services or the police force." If you're a part of a police force you are not a civilian.

I will give my life to protect the kids I work with but I won't carry a gun because I'm a crossing guard and at times I could be easily disarmed because my backs turned as I cross the kids.
