Hey. I'm building a 3'4" ramp (not including flat bottom height). I've very limited skating experience although learned to do kick turns at the top of a 5' ramp before and I do surf so I think I would take to it quick enough. Is there a radius you could recommend for me? I drew out a 6'10 and it looks maybe a bit too mellow. I enjoyed the steepness of the 5' ramp as it was a bit scary but I have no clue what radius it was. Also I read that it's actually better to have a radius that changes and gets slightly steeper. Do you have any thoughts on this? Sorry for the longwinded question I do get obsessed over these things haha.

How do we know how long the flat bottom needs to be? Im looking to build a 3ft mini with a 6 1/2 foot radius

Im currenty making a 2.5ft tall mini with a 4.8ft radius, I want the stransition to be on the steeper side for a nice locked in feel to grinds, do you recomend this or is it to steep? Appreciate all the videos!!

So radius should be about 3/2 the height of the ramp?

Building a 2ft (20.5" + 3.5") mini-ramp in my garage and have 18.3ft total length to use. This means I could have either:
radius: 6ft
decks: 23.5"
flat: 6ft

Or steeper transitions, but more flat between:
radius: 5.5ft
decks: 20"
flat: 7ft

With your experience and in your opinion, what would make the most sense and "flow" the best? I may be able to cut more size from the decks, but am not sure how much room minimum I need up there for rocks and other lip tricks. Also, I definitely need the ramp's radius "steep" enough to where the board will get caught by the coping during a rock/disaster and not just freely roll from ramp to deck, if that makes sense.
