Today we will be studying Item number SCP-316: Color-Draining Light, Object class: Safe.
SCP-316 is a bronze carbide lamp that emits nearly opaque beams of white light. Any non-reflective surfaces exposed to SCP-316 lose their color, turning gray, with multiple other symptoms occuring. Affects of SCP-316 can be spread by organisms, internally and externally.
Subjects recovering from SCP-316 experience nausea and depression with subjects violently resisting exposure to SCP-316.
Addendum:
Experiment-05: Exposure to SCP-056
Full effects of SCP-316 confirmed after 30 seconds of exposure. SCP-056 changes into a gray replica of one of the researchers in the testing room. As researchers read out results for Dr. Blast (viewing remotely via camera), SCP-056 takes the form of Dr. Blast.
Note: Nobody told me this thing could breach camera transmissions! I've probably been mentally breached as well, I can feel it already, dammit! I can't move. I can't move! Wheel me down to the infirmary! Hurry! -Dr. Blast
