Their visit should have been private without the royal groupies hanging around...I went to Kranji in 72 alone and it was a very sad but peaceful place...how it should be !

Mm..Willian and Catherine paid tribute to the worst military catastroph of the British Empire´s history in Singapore :) Britannia had in Singapore the most incompetent arrogant coward officer of the WWII and quite unefficient troops. Big British army surrendered though they had much better strategic position, strong fortifications, storages full of food, weapons and bullets and overpower. The tired, weak, sick Japanese troops were pracitcally without maintenance and bullets (for 2 hours use).
