Why isnt 10.2.1) 24 because there are 4 possible numbers that can be used unlock the lock (2, 4, 6, 8) so wouldnt that be 4! (4x3x2x1)?

I generally think the language issue is a problem. "even numbered" code to me meant, the code made of even numbers. Now why would they not clarify that?? they not testing math moss manje they are testing the language, which is a disadvantage to us ENGFALs

Shouldn't 10.2.2 be 1/(5×5×1×3 - 2×5×1×2) because subtracting with the 2×5×1×2 will eliminate the options where the code starts with a 6 or 8 wich can not be used for the last digit?

I am a new subscriber. Your last solution is interesting. especially the 1 over.. approach. I ignored the phrase " open the lock on the 1st attempt" . Also I am concerned about the 6 and 8 that were counted in the 1st slot, I thing you counted them again in the last.. I don't know sir but I 100% appreciate this work. Shouldn’t your sample space be 840 still?
And then the 5x5x1x3 be your number of favourable outcomes ?
Thus 60/840 = 1/14?

Doesn't even numbered mean only even numbers are allowed in code?
