Divide and Conquer by Niyanth Rao

The talk focused on the divide and conquer technique, specifically with an eye towards fast exponentiation. It was conducted by Niyanth Rao. Time permitting, we look at a few other uses of the idea as well. No pre-requisites as such.

Niyanth Rao is a college freshman at Carnegie Mellon University, studying Mathematics and Computer Science. He loves problem-solving and enjoyed competing in math contests in high school. He hopes to convey beautiful ideas to everyone, and hopes they enjoy them as much as he does!
