Otto is my favorite character in life so far, crying over his cinematics so a panic attack started. The best antagonist. It's a pity many people don't understand him (even those who think they do), because they mistakenly believe that Otto did it because of his "love" for Kallen. This is true, but a very small part of the truth. This is so little that it is almost not true because "love" is not a sufficient word. Kallen was his whole world, because he was literally hidden from him by his family. And he saved this world by sacrificing the world that allowed Saint Kallen to perish.
