Transformers studio series Apelinq unboxing & review. Rise of the beasts movie SS 118 figure

In this video review we can have a detailed look at the entire contents of the packaging as i unbox him. Then we can see how he displays in each mode. Plus see how his accessories work and look again in each mode.
Then finish up with some comparisons of other toys of him, toys in the same toyline and other generations figures.

Yeah, I totally agree. Having the head, arms & paint redone are subtitle but effective choices to make both Apelinq & Primal standout from each other!

So if I'm right, there is no official model of what Apelinq looks like in robot mode, so, the designers had to invent a robot mode, just like Airazor.

Thanks for the preview! Beast mode looks great. Robot mode looks disappointing. A new chest or a very different head would have done wonders, but mostly it's the deco. I will be repainting and modding him for sure.

Gosh Apelinq looks like a the W.I.P for Primal, he just looks so much more bare

PS: for their robot modes, the panel that becomes his ape stomach swivels up into the backpack for robot mode.

They could had included an extra head for primal with the faceplate :(

as a wrecker fan i thought this was a dissapointment (due to the yolopark) and how it looked too much like optimus primal but the differences make me apreciate it
ape mode:
- the arms are thicker
- the shoulders are asimetical
- it is a lighter black
- the stomach is more silver
- theres a lot of grey
robot mode:
- new head
- the chest paint aps are different
- the knees are more grey
Overral for my 3h wreckers crew this is a good option

The fact that it’s the same size as primal confuses me

Not bad but face is DNA head better than this one. This is trans metal gorilla plus Primal’s option head.
