RadioMaster Zorro How to update the Multi Protocol Module firmware

Fairly regularly there are firmware update releases for the Multi Protocol Module (MPM) within your Zorro radio. It is not necessary to update every time a release is available but sometimes there can be an important update which should be implemented.

You may also want to use any new protocols which have been added since the last release.

Hi,
Your video was really helping me figuring out how to update the 4-in-1 module. However, when I go in a model where I previously had FrSky configured, the only option I now have is CRSF for bot the internal and external module.
I do have an ExpressLRS backpack, so for the external module this is how it supposed to be.
Do you have an idea what could be causing this for the internal module?

I fixed it. I had to change the setting in the SYS, page 6/7 for the Internal RF back to Multi.
I'm not sure what caused all the settings in my radio to reset. These settings were all correctly set when I received the radio. Now even the mode had changed to mode 1... Weird

I have a radio master pocket cc2500. When I connected the usb cable to the RC (top not charging port) and selected storage the RC never showed up on my computer as a usb drive! Any ideas why?

Hi i just got a radiomaster boxer 4in1 and i'm having problems with it. First it doesn't have all the options in the internal RF, i tried to flash the multiprotocol firmware but when i put it in the firmware folder and try to enter through the controller it's not there. I saw on the internet that someone had the same problem as me (not all protocols are available) and they fixed it by flashing the firmware for Radiomaster Zorro. I tried that too, but again the controller does not load the firmware file.
I need frsky D8 protocol for some planes and Elrs for drones. Elrs is on the module and it works normally. While I have the option frsky x and frsky x2, but there is no D8 and D16. If I had those options it wouldn't be a big problem because I only needed them, but I only have a couple of protocols offered, of which they weren't offered.

Im trying to do exactly this now to be able to bind with frsky archer plus gr6 but now the multimodule website also gives you an option to choose ”firmware type” and for the lastest version the types i can choose is air, surface and EU LBT. I know that eu lbt wont work with some of my reveivers. My zorro came with eu lbt and i had to change to FCC to make it work. Dont see FCC in the list now though. Any ideas?

Thank you sir! I have used the Radiomaster Zorro 4in1 to bind to my eachine mini's, but I can't seem to get it to bind to my AK A160 using the KN protocol even though many others seem to do it no problem. Don't know if you have any ideas or helpful tips, but thank you nonetheless!

A bought the Radiomaster Zorro and initially I was having g trouble binding. Then once I got several of my drones binded, I realized that the sticks and other functions were backwards (inverted). Even in the simulator the sticks are all out of sink. Can you help?

when i try to update my internal modul it says "FW update error- no snyc". Also i get no ifo anymore about my internal modul, aswell as saying "no telemetry" in the modul. Do you have ann idea how i could revive this module somehow? great vid btw

I have tried to flash the internal Module per your advice, I am getting the following error:

"FW update error
device not responding
[exit] "

I then have to press the power button to get any response out of the controller.
I originally thought I had the elrs version so i tried to flash elrs onto it, ive since deleted everything Ive added to the sd card and used the factory dump provided by radiomaster. however when I try to bind to my tinyhawks or other kwads it now just keeps beeping trying to bind and never successfully gets telemetry/binds.

I got my 4in1 RM Zorro last week, and I have a problem with my DSM receivers, I have various dsm2, also dsmx, and from different companies such as lemon rx, spectrum and orange. All of these can be bound, but all of them have the range very small, there is no fine tuning either. 10 -15 meters and then it's over.😠
What i am doing wrong????please
i have also FRSKY RX .They work fine.

Hi. I seem to of lost my external module option in my settings while doing updates, if I follow your instructions will i get it back, the reason this happened is because I was trying to load my bin model files from my old model bin files from a copy of my opentx SD card I copied to my computer, I cannot plug my old x- lite radio into my computer because I broke the usb connector this is why I purchased the Zorro, been trying to get edgetx to recognise bin files and cannot convert them into the new file type.

is an internal module swap possible ? i have accidently bought the radiomaster cc2500 version . i bought the external modul with a 4 in 1 chip (iRX4 Lite) . can this be swapped out to the internal chip ? i also use crossfire as external modul .

Unfortunately I couldn't reach anything, I fell I threw my money in the garbage.
