Dear editor,

I grew up reading India Today magazine and it was picked up regularly from the magazine vendor.

I always thought that it was one magazine who saw Indian current affairs very critically and truly.

Each and every page was lapped up for the information it contained.

Sadly the high standards of journalism went down all over India and you also followed the down trend in your articles.


I stopped reading the magazine years back.

Some one gave me a copy of your latest edition. Sadly, I found nothing to read in it. 


I think, Aroon Purie was connected with the magazine even during the old days but today this magazine does not leave any stamp of the high standards of journalism it adopted during its formative years.


Please, for God sake stop this " NOTE TO THE READER" and have the guts to say that we are dependent on the government of the day for money.
