PROMISES of OUR LORD JESUS to those who honor His Holy Face...
1. My Face is the seal of the Divinity, which has the virtue of reproducing in souls the image of God.
2. Those who by words, prayers or writing defend My cause in this Work of Reparation I will defend before My Father, and will give them My Kingdom.
3. By offering My Face to My Eternal Father, nothing will be refused, and the conversion of many sinners will be obtained.
4. By My Holy Face, they will work wonders, appease the anger of God and draw down mercy on sinners.
5. As in a kingdom they can procure all that is desired with a coin stamped with the King’s effigy, so in the Kingdom of Heaven they will obtain all they desire with the precious coin of My Holy Face.
6. Those who on earth contemplate the wounds of My Face shall in Heaven behold it radiant with glory.
7. They will receive in their souls a bright and constant irradiation of My Divinity, that by their likeness to My Face they shall shine with particular splendor in Heaven.
8. I will defend them, I will preserve them and I assure them of Final Perseverance.
The Chaplet of the Holy Face comes to us from Sister Mary of St. Peter with the approval of Jesus. Its purpose is to honor the five senses of Our Lord, outraged in His Passion, and to entreat God for triumph over the enemies seeking to destroy Christ’s Church.
St. Athanasius, one of the great Fathers of the early Church, tells us that the Scriptural verse, recited on the small beads of the Chaplet, is especially hated by the devils more than any other verse in the Scriptures. “Arise, O Lord, and let Thy enemies be scattered, and let those that hate Thee fly before Thy Face.” Psalm 68:1. The devils admitted that this verse always compels them to take flight. This particular verse is formally used in the official Exorcism ritual of the Church.
The Chaplet prayers are a powerful means of assisting Holy Mother Church in the needs of the present age when the Church is under aggressive attack by so many enemies. The daily recitation of the Chaplet is recommended to obtain the triumph of our holy mother, the Catholic Church, through the reparative prayers of the Chaplet offered to God the Eternal Father through the Holy Face of His Son.
