Someone's probably already commented on this but that's not true. There are in fact anti-neutrons got example. While charge is the most evident change it is not the only one.

I had to keep backing up on this one, and it still blew my mind. Positron fountains. How weird, but weirder is that we cannot find the source. I'm hoping someone starts doing substantial research on this! Mysterious!!

A positron fountain would actually be a great weapon for interstellar war. You could shower an entire solar system with positrons continuously for millennia, slowly ionizing all the gases in the solar system by annihilating the electrons in the gaseous atoms, eventually causing all the atmospheres in that solar system to dissipate into space. Planets with magnetic fields, normally safe from atmospheric loss, would actually be even more susceptible because the magnetic fields would capture positrons from a wide area and funnel them directly into the planet's atmosphere at the poles. Good luck breathing in a vacuum.

I like your comment that if there was an antimatter galaxy it would be hard to tell it apart from other galaxies. Imagine you're in deep space and an alien shows up and he seems friendly enough so you offer a handshake but then when he shakes your hand you both explode because he was made of antimatter and you were made of matter.

In 'At The Core' Larry Niven's best character Beowolf Shafer encounters what he eventually learns is the shock-front from the in-progress explosion of the milky way. The fact the galaxy is going through this chain reaction of supernova becomes key to several further stories, 'Ring World' itself included along with the vanishing of the puppeteers and collapse of General Products.

I think he was actually talking about quasars when he says we have seen galaxies explode before. However at the time this story was written--1966--black holes were not widely known to the general public, therefore he had to settle on another mechanism to explain quasars.

The Neutrinos detected in Antarctica a while back was pretty interesting. Gravity waves from a Gravity drive from a "UFO" would definitely be a suspect.
