IT STILL WORKS! a little more complicated now.
1. Go to social
2. Go to Groups
3. Go to Group Details
4. Find gun/camo you want
5. Hit Details on person
6. Hit start and scroll over to Edit Emblem
7. Open and Close Emblem option
8. Continue to hit B to go back until you are back to the "Party & Friends, Groups, Recent" options.
9. Switch back to "Party and Friends" and you will see that your operator pops up with the weapon/camo you wanted.
10. Click in LS to "View My Profile"
11. Enter Showcase
12. Showcase Weapon
13. Save Custom Mod

You can bring the Camos into everything except DMZ, if you use a gun with a Camo you don't have unlocked it removes it from your inventory in DMZ

Pretty effective way to get blueprints you don't own as well, I was able to get a copy of the Messi and Neymar bundle guns.

Update: They just removed the showcase feature in the game to prevent this just now

I hope this doesn't get patched. If they want to minipulate my gameplay with SBMM, I have no problem exploiting glitches like this. Loving the new camos on my guns.

They are so quick to patch this sht but can’t fix game breaking glitches nobodies worried about camos breaking games

Just a heads up, if your gun isn't loading just remove all the attachments then load into another game. Should work after that, also try saving it again with your own attachments this might save your present when this inevitably gets patched.

Glitch is patched now, they disabled "showcase".
But the blueprints I made are still there.

Thanks bro managed to snach a couple of ones just before they shut off the weapon showcase option haha. How fast they move to prevent shit like this but spend months working on basic bugs that exist since mw19

Not patched at all. There is a workaround for the showcase. Just once you are looking at the person profile with the gun you want hit on the top right, the rank icon. Hit edit emblem and back then back again until you see your own operator holding the gun glithced. Hit L3 and edit showcase gun and save the blueprint. Just did it for the last hour just missing few guns
