I have a 240 Jackery and I run an Alpicool refrigerator 24/7. I discovered that when the Jackery is connected with the refrigerator but is not needed because the temp is low, automatically turns itself off, saving battery. Also for me it charges very fast..

Thank you so much! Using the Jackery 240 with the cheapest 100w Renogy kit makes a starter solar system as cheap as $360 as opposed to using an inverter, battery, etc with all the wires for $425 - When every dollar counts this is excellent for people starting out

THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! I’m no technician or anything and I’m trying to explore all of my options for van life, and you just saved my butt. I was thinking of paying for someone to do the wiring and now I don’t have to!! This is so simple!!

These are great for powering refrigerators, small electronics, and other stuff, but I always like to hear how everyone keeps them cool in summer heat. Vehicles get super hot so it is great to see how everyone gets creative to keep it cool.

All my research into setting up solar systems in vans and buses just became redundant in 15.31 mins 😁
Thanks for sharing dude 👊

You’re excitement for your two Jackery’s is awesome. You figured out what you needed, found the product that best fits the requirements and now you’re shouting at the top of your lungs for all to hear, and we can only hope to enjoy life in a van as you do. Great job brother. Skillet

CPAP users need to note that the Jackery 240 is not recommended for running CPAP machines. Get the Jackery 440 if you're a CPAP user, and get on out there!! Nice episode, Chrome!

Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. My daughter bought a van and has been traveling all over the country like a Gypsy and I have been worried about her staying warm in the winter and safe with carbon minoxide issues so your video's are helping me figure out what she needs to be safe. Much appreciation!

Your information on the Jackery Battery is much appreciated...I’m sold on it just hearing you talk about how great it is. Totally impressed...like the simplicity of having a power source without the requirement of running wires everywhere. 👍 Thank you for sharing. Take care...safe travels! 🤗

Even full price is less than many options I’ve looked at! Thanks for the heads up on something really usable and useful! Hugs to you both!

I've been using the smallest Jackery power station along with the 100w solar panel it came with in my short bus skoolie conversation and I seriously am in love. I've been nothing but impressed with the input and output speeds and ability. So worth it. Thanks for confirming and telling the world!

I bought the Jackery 440 because of you, Chrome, and your channel. (Let Jackery know advertising through you, works) I recently dry camped ion the Jackery 440 for 4 days, charging my iPhone and iPad so I could do my blog and internet, and after 4 days, I still had 70% power left. When I got back to my s&b and had it completely recharged off my solar system in no time!

Thanks for the great video about the battery station and IKEA. Don't forget the $1 stores for storage baskets.

I finally did it Chrom. Your videos inspired me to get my Ramvan. I'll be starting my Vanlife Vlogging soon. This video helps because I was curious how I wanted to approach power needs. The van itself is old and I dont trust running power off the van itself.

Thanks for the video. Helpful for a more simpler solution for a guy like me who wants to more live the weekend van life. I just went on a road trip for 6 days and spent $500 on hotels for my wife and I. I could have bought a jackery, a mattress pad, all the wood and hardware for that price.
