If you look closely, u see a difference in the contrast of the colors. In 4.4.1 they aren't as washed out as 4.4 I guess google took heed from all the complaints people were making about washed out displays.

Looks like milliseconds differences but improvements nonetheless. In tech world those small differences add up. They may even have another update coming with even more improvements. They got this one out quite fast because of the complaint and it may be an incremental one for the camera. You know there will be another mini update coming after this one.

1, the camera does take better pictures in terms of color reproduction and image quality check any tech blog and it makes the camera faster it does both!  2, 4.4.1 also improves the speaker quality these are the 2 worst part about the phone and google managed to fix/improve them in a short amount of time. 3, They arent done it's been said that soon hopefully as soon as google released this update that they would get a new camera app and add api's so we can take RAW photos which the galaxy s4 and many other phones cant do.so stop complaining people

I think what you should do next is a camera battle between Nexus 5 4.4.1 and Note 3/GS4.

Your videos are always very underexposed! Bias the exposure at least +1 stops (double light). Otherwise, great videos!

This is why you never buy before 1-2 months after everyone else bought it. Its a bad thing to be one of the first to buy new tech. Its a really smart move to wait a few weeks or months before buying new shit.

The for difference in the pictures at the end are probably due to screen differences, I know when I had an RMA'd device and the replacement, they had different color temperatures.

the galaxy s4 take the picture way faster than the nexus 5. i think google have to focus in the camera more.

Android 4.4.1 is faster and the color is better, the last picture (background) you take look pink on Android 4.4

Just went to your site and saw that there is an update for the Nexus 4 as well, and as a Nexus 4 user, I am elated.  However, I've read that the Nexus 4 camera is what you see what you get.  Will this 4.4.1 update also improve the performance of the Nexus 4 camera, or is it only improve the other features of the phone?
