They both have their ups and downs. My daily is currently an N/A KA-DE. And If you plan on dailying I'd stick with the KA. SR's have some odd idling, and you need to do more maintenance due to it being turbo. You see a lot of SR's are either rebuilt, or really low miles. If you can get a healthy SR done RIGHT then It's worth it. Otherwise if you're on a budget, the KA has enough of everything to get you drifting.(Assuming that's what we all get a 240 for)

Here in the US we have the KA24DE, which is N/A. But if there was a T at the end, wouldn't it mean it should be Turbo?

He's right, a d16d even with a turbo on stock internals can't compete with a sr20det stock.Even then the sr20det won't need boost.

Euro -> CA18DET or SR20DET 200SX
US -> KA24DE 240SX
Japan -> CA18DET or SR20DET 180SX

1.8turbo= 200sx ; 2.4 na = 240sx.. jdm 180sx also 1.8 and later kouki with sr20

180sx's come with both CA18's and SR20's from Japan, there is one sitting my driveway with a CA18

You're wrong too, 200sx and 180sx didn't come with KA24s at all. It was CA18 in 200sx and SR20 in 180sx.

As I've said to many people I fucking understand that. It's all the fucking S13 Chassis. I was making it simple so that people that don't know would understand. I'm very fucking aware of the engine differences as well as the appearance differences.

Yeah it is stupid because here in the U.S. they don't have CAs or SRs stock, just KAs.
