To be honest... i have always thought 18 dragon subduing palms (the original 28 dragon subduing palms) is more like a grappling/wrestling skill set that puts the opponent into submission. and there are 28 positions to get your opponent to tap out but got simplified to 18 positions. Hence the name dragon subduing palms. if it is strong enough to subdue a dragon, it can subdue anyone...
