I grew them in pots because of deer they are absolutely gorgeous flowers. I love the colors they are not advertised enough.

I have never grown dahlias before either Teresa, but also planted some tubers this year (no sign of life at all yet) and I bought some little ready made small ones which I’ve just planted. Good luck for yours!

I planted 227 dahlias from tubers in raised beds and in the ground. I’ve always planted the dahlias that I grow from seed in containers and in the ground. They form tubers and come back every year.
