Pro tip: just cap your fps at either your monitors refresh rate, or whatever frames you can consistently get. For example, rocket league is capped at 144 but I put COD at like 100 cause I have a 1660 super😂

“G-Sync is a variable refresh rate that’s based off the adaptive V-Sync technology that adaptive V-Sync uses. it uses this system to adjust a monitors refresh rate to synchronize with the GPUs FPS. this technology will eliminate problems like screen tearing and input lag and instead will produce frame rate transitions that will happen so fast you won’t even even notice the change in FPS”

Basically what I was trying to say to everyone. Other guy claimed he had G-Sync but I doubt it.

Also to mention, when you have G- or FreeSync you should disable V-Sync.

I have never wondered what that is. I've wondered why devs are stupid enough to not enable it by default, as the only game I ever bought for 360 instead of PS3 was cause the PS3 one had vsync tearing

It makes the game look better, there's no doubt.
But when playing games that you need a fast response, like fps, I preffer it off.
Ive only gamed in 60hz,

I just use a 240hz monitor with g sync. 50 feels just as smooth as 100 fps
