Like the end of a garage sale, the price drops before you pack up. These are select lenses with a niche market, it's a good time to unload.

Nikon is just closing out obsolete F series lenses, no surprise here.

Nikon didn't just abandon their DSLR customers, and with the surging sales of Z 9 and Z 8, it's time to reduce the inventory. There are also deep discounts going on with other Z cameras and lenses. Maybe it's just to capture markets, or to convert users of other systems.

The printer comes with ink but, are they full cartridges, or STARTER cartridges?

I'm still amazed that you can get a "new" 85mm F/1.4G. I would also agree about dropping that much on "older" lenses. I would rather get a used one...especially IF you can find it for half the price.

If I may, I would definitely NOT want the printer. And most should not either. Unless you're selling a lot of large prints, those printers are just not worth it. And yes, I'm speaking from experience. I do volume photography and it's still cheaper and might I say better, to use a professional lab and let them handle the headache of stocking ink, changing ink and paper, maintaining the printer etc. etc. Now that 28-105 lens? Yeah baby, great lens. 🙂

Sad, sad, sad. Be positive Nikon doing very well., in my view better than Canon sleeping for a good few years and releasing not much better than what has already been out for a couple of years from Nikon. From a Sony user.

I can't imagine they've been selling many of these lenses new in recent years anyway.
Here in europe, the 800 f/5.6 is 20.000€ new, but you can get it used in great condition for like 8.000€.

That 28-105 is impressive, almost no breathing. If only it did at least 30 fps AFC it would be perfect 😢

What's unusual about an inventory reduction? Companies do it all the time given changes in product relevance to the market.

I want this printer!!! I think sigma missed the window on that lens. Tamron really got a boost covering that range early. I love my 35-150 for studio work and all around shooting!

I'd love to have that printer, but as a hobbyist I just can't justify it. I've been using the Pro-200 for about 2 years now and it's fitting my needs very nicely. When I want to spend that amount of $, I'll look towards a new piece of glass instead.
