Will It Fit? - Coralife 29 Gallon BioCube Aquarium

This is the second installment of "Will it Fit?", a new Marine Depot video series!

One of the most frequently asked questions we receive from hobbyists is "Will this skimmer/reactor/etc. fit in my aquarium?"

We felt this presented us with an opportunity to make a fun new video series to demonstrate whether some of our newest and most popular aquarium equipment will fit in a particular tank.

In this episode we tackled one of the most popular AIO aquariums of all time: the Coralife 29 Gallon BioCube!

I have the 29 gallon biocube with the Hydor mini skimmer and it will fit in the first chamber. I had it back there for months without a problem and I changed the skim cup every other day.

Bought the 32 gallon biocube by Coralife, love this tank! Looking to find the best skimmer to fit it, not much info yet. Thought for sure that what fit in the 29 would fit the 32, is this not the case?

The Slim Skim Nano does fit in chamber 1, not sure why you chose to show just the Slim Skim model.

Marine Depot, Thanks for putting up this video. Just picked up a second hand Biocube 29. How can I tell if it's a Oceanic or Coralife? It has 4 light switches and looks to have snap in led lights along with the CF. Since this video is a couple years old, is there any newer skimmers that fit in chamber one? Thank

Did yall have to modify the aquatic life 115 to get it to fit chamber 1?

Thanks for the great video.  Made my decision a lot easier.  Be advised however when purchasing the aquaticlife 115 skimmer, it needs to sit down pretty far in chamber 1 so the biocube lid can shut.  I was having a issue with the tank lid hitting the skimmer collection cup.  A quick air mod will allow you to push the skimmer down far enough so the collection cup will clear the lid etc...

Great Will the AquaMaxx WS-1 fit the BC29?

What about the new 16/32 LEDs?  These tanks while taller,  have a different hood shape the clearance isn't the same in the overflow.  Also they come stock with media baskets in chamber 2.  So it's a whole new scheme to fit skimmers into.
