Phil Mickelson’s highlights | Round 1 | Safeway 2018

In the opening round of the 2018 Safeway Open, Phil Mickelson recorded five birdies in-a-row on his back nine and jumped up the leaderboard to take solo third after finishing with a 7-under 65.

PGA TOUR's 2018-19 season tees off with the Safeway Open returning to Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, California. In 2017, Brendan Steele successfully defended his 2016 Safeway title. He finished at 15 under, two strokes ahead of Tony Finau. Will Steele be able to win for a third consecutive time in 2018?
