I began following Ten because his art but also because of the tutorials. I know YouTube’s algorithm doesn’t reward tutorials anymore, but there are some of us out here still hungry for knowledge. So thank you, Peter! ❤

This is unbelievably helpful! I’m so sick of tutorials only giving you 60% of the process. I learned digital art in like 2008 so being able to see the whole process in 2024 is just incredibly useful. Thank you so much for the vector to PS breakdown, especially how you break your colours out into their own layers! Amazing tutorial

You can save yourself a few minutes in Procreate when changing the layer colors by selecting the desired layer then tapping the magic want in the top left. Use the Hue/Saturation and just drag that puppy to black. Literally takes seconds! As someone who sketches in Navy Blue (cause black just seems to final 😅), this is the last step in my sketch workflow too.

I absolutely love the fact that your work setup is not over kill, super high tech, inaccessible stuff! you know what will be good enough for your workflow and that is what you use. I always get intimidated when looking at the setup other creatives post and it makes me feel as if I cant catch up because that stuff is inaccessible for most people because of the price barrier. So thankyou!

As a cartoonist who grew up traditional, I knew getting an iPad with an Apple pencil would be the best way for me to go, For all of the reasons that you listed here. I just don't want to be tethered to my desktop computer. (It's the same reason why I love my Nintendo switch and all other portable gaming systems that came before it)

Ten Hundred, we need more videos like these. Your content is so freakin' inspiring and seeing this type of 'raw' mostly unfiltered stuff from you is incredible. Love your work man.

11:55 you can also press once on the layer and then select the „mask“ option. What that does is that if you paint with a dark color it „erases“ the area and if you paint with a light color like white, it brings the line or what ever was there back.

I think you could save even more time with the Pantone color process if you stayed in Illustrator and not Photoshop. In Illustrator you just select a color and then Select > Same Fill Color. Then use the Swatches panel to choose color. This way you don’t have to worry about all the layers

Thank you bro..Im self taught. Grew up drawing on Every and anything. Life happened n took a break from drawing. But bought a pro with procreate and the pencil when I decided to get my life together. My wife and drawing on the iPad very much made it fun to remain home and not outside (I got in trouble a lot outside). So a few years later and today, I’m watchin this and learned ALOT..also, inspired to get back creating and wearing my designs. -ANT

Dude, seriously, I could see you do any type of video at this point. The quality of the video, the editing, the pacing, the narration, the information within the video. Always top notch.

Thanks for giving us a deeper look into your process.

Thanks for the in depth class. No telling how many people you saved innumerable hours of frustration. Nice to know I'm not the only one with lost layer hours. Looking forward to the shirt - Much thanks to you & your team!

next time you’re working on something in procreate, try using the layer mask option instead of making a new layer & filling in white! 😄 when you click on the current layer you’re working & and see all the options pop up, select the layer mask option. when you use the brush tool with black ink, it’ll erase or hide whatever you draw over, but if you ever decide you need that part back, just switch your pen to white & draw over the area again to get it back! i hope this makes sense lol but once you get in the habit of it, it’s super helpful!
this video was super fun to watch another artists process, thanks for always sharing 🫶🏼

Love hearing how your drawing process is unique from tradition. It is encouraging to do what works and not be pressured to follow rules. You're a hero for self taught artists. thank you ❤

This was really refreshing to watch. As an aspiring artist I get so stuck in the way things are "supposed" to be done. You really instill a feeling of freedom when it comes to creating that I love so much!

In procreate on your sketch layers you can hit alpha lock, then hit fill layer to change the line drawing color rather than using a large airbrush and painting it in.

Glad to see that not everyone adheres to the classic "sketch out blocky shapes first" approach. I'm only a casual doodler, but it still feels kinda stiff to me whenever I try to go the "professional" route vs. the childhood approach of just drawing the "final" design right away.

I am a Screen-printer, been doing it for 30 years. The knowledge of screen-printing you have is very impressive. I enjoyed this video a lot. Your knowledge was spot on.
