Radxa Rock 5B Android Screen Recorder First Test

In my previous video I noticed that the Android image for the Radxa Rock 5B still needs a lot of optimisations. With the Mekotronics R58(X) I was able to record the screen, while playing a 4k YouTube video.

Unfortunately that doesn't work with the Rock 5B yet.
Perhaps it will be better when we have the YouTube app.

Recording the HDMI In port doesn't work. This is possible with the Mekotronics R58(X), although the Mekotrnoics also has a conflict over the microphone.

Let's see who will be first to support recording video and audio from the HDMI In port.

In theory the Rock 5B should be ahead of the pack compared to the other RK3588 offerings based on their specs and price, however it seems that Radxa is leaving the software debugging and refining up to the community more than the other two companies selling RK3588 boards, which takes more time. I have mine on order finally, but even if I get it in the next ten days or so, it seems it is a long way off from being a capable daily driver. While it would make an excellent server, it is overkill with its GPU capabilities, I'd rather use it for daily tasks.
