New controversy for Wendy Rogers over restraining order against journalist

Rogers, who represents a legislative district that covers Flagstaff, was granted a restraining order against a journalist who was researching a story about whether the lawmaker lives in the district she represents. FOX 10's Nicole Garcia reports.

Right, she has three homes. Two very nice ones in the valley in what appears to be affluent neighborhoods. The one she’s claiming as her residence is a small, older mobile home. How dumb does Rogers think Arizona residents are? A few weekends in Flagstaff to get out of the valley summer heat does not a primary residence make.

She shopped the the courts until she found one that would grant it. What a trashy politician! She's obviously shady and that was apparent in her actions.

Journalists are supposed to hold powerful people accountable.

She's a public servant that is required to live in the county she represents. That is public knowledge that they are required to prove. This restraining order sets a dangerous precedent. Clearly it's preferential treatment.
This is her "see my badge" moment. Don't let her get away with it.

When you're a public figure, expect some level interest at all times from the press. To qualify as stalking, they'd need to behave inappropriately, and imo, show some creepy interest outside of professional areas, such as saying she was hot on social media. Hard to imagine in this case, I know.
