So what you're saying is that the Squeakquel would make slightly more sense if, instead of attending a normal human high school, the Chipmunks had to attend a special high school with other talking animals? Now that's a movie I want to watch.

"They tried to keep the original spirit of Yogi bear instead of modernizing it for the younger kids."

Oh, believe me. Yogi learned to avoid the massive landmine of modernization long ago.

"Breaking the fourth wall will get you nowhere."

Say that to Spaceballs, Deadpool, Chowder, House of Cards, Fight Club, Monty Python's Meaning of Life, Wayne's World, Wolf of Wall Street, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

"Breaking the 4th wall will get you nowhere." Unless you're Deadpool or Lobo. :D

Okay, let me try to explain why they went with CGI for Rocky and Bullwinkle and live-action casting for Natasha, Boris, and Fearless Leader: because CGI for humans back in 2000 was BAD. Very bad. If Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within hasn't dated all too well, then there's no way the movie would date okay had they rendered the cartoon humans as CGI. As for Rocky and Bullwinkle, while they could (and should) have rendered Moose and Squirrel as 2D (so they can justify the gag of the 2D weasel getting killed), they made them CGI in order to give them actual depth when regarding their interactions with humans.

Of course this is all negated with Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but you know...

actually, i found adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle a great movie adaptation.

That's the only movie adaptation of a cartoon that THEY GOT RIGHT

they put the humor over the actual story and the jokes, like the show, are purposely really good and occasionally really bad. They did the same thing with the movie

The Animated Films based on Cartoons are WAY BETTER THAN THESE, in my eyes. for example The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, Abracatastrophe (Fairly Odd Parents), Rugrats Movie and its sequel Rugrats In Paris, The Powerpuff Girls Movie, Mr Peabody & Sherman (2014), Wild Thornberrys Movie, Hey Arnold the Movie etc

Even though it's not being released in theaters, I am scared that the Live Action Kim Possible is going to fail.

To be entirely fair to Revenge of the Fallen, the “Terminator” was actually rooted in Transformers lore. She’s what’s known as a Pretender. They were introduced near the end of the first generation, and they were known for having humanoid “shells”. Such fan-favorite characters as Bludgeon were actually introduced as Pretenders.

I actually liked the Transformers movies, not the story, not character, but the fight scenes

"Breaking the 4th wall will get you nowhere". You might want to tell that to Deadpool.

I'll admit, I still enjoy Inspector Gadget, the Chipmunk films, and Yogi Bear.... but they've got nothing on the original shows. Nothing will ever top the original shows.

Watch the Nostalgia Critic review of Rocky and Bullwinkle. He surprisingly calls it a very faithful adaptation of the cartoon, right down to the fact that the story and characters are just an excuse to make jokes which even then, some are good and some are bad. He says that's what the cartoon is and that's what the movie is.

I would love to see the Nostalgia Critic review some of these movies.

"They're all the same film"
That's because Michael bay doesn't know how to make an original work.

Is it sad I bought an Alvin and the Chipmunks cd when it came out in 2007? I was 7 years old don't judge.
