Exodus 26:11-14
" 14 You shall make fifty clasps of bronze, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together that is may be a single whole.
12 And the part that remais of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle.

Satan is far smarter than his servants will ever be:
Satan knows he cannot touch those who stop willful sin and come to truly be of God (1 John 5:18). Satan knows he cannot curse God's people, yet he will keep his servants blind to that truth. Why is this? It is to keep the sinners cursed and prevent them from converting to the light of God. This does not include hypocrites; only true believers are protected by God. True servants of God can tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt us, not even death (Luke 10:19). Those of God are filled with his supernatural power, and that power literally lives in every body and soul that belongs to him. Only God loves us (John 3:16); Satan does not. Repent.
