I'm an Antinatalist and I had my vasectomy done. Am I in sin in Abrahamic religions? Because I believe that vasectomy is a true declaration of peace and love to my enemy and to my father's enemy. A man without children doesn't represent any threat to anyone.

He was using her, and how did he accomplish that? By spilling his seed

Judah was the line the Messiah would come through. Judah took a wife that was from a certain Canaanite line, and I take it that meant from a certain Nephilim seed contaminated lineage. That wife was Shu'ah and she bore two Nephilim seed carrier sons to Judah. Actually she bore THREE contaminated seed carrying sons, Er, Onan, and She'lah.
Er was wicked ( probably because he had Nephilim seed ) and died ( or the Lord took him out ). Onan was called to fulfill the tradition of producing children for dead brother but he did not want to and just derived pleasure from the situation ( probably because he had Nephilim seed ) so the Lord took him out. Also likely because a son would have been in the line to the Messiah and Nephilim blood in the line to the Messiah just could not be allowed.
The next in line to fulfill the brotherly mission was She'lah who was too young to meet that requirement so Tamar the wife of the brothers would have to wait till She'lah got old enough.
In the meantime Shu'ah the wife of Judah and mother of his three sons died leaving him free to marry again.
Tamar apparently knew something about the children of Shu'ah having bad seed and that if she waited for She'lah to be old enough to continue the tradition that he would most likely be eliminated. So she decided to head it off and disguised herself as a prostitute where Judah was taking care of sheep business. She got Judah to impregnate her and continued the line to the Messiah without the contaminated family line apnd also sparing the life of She'lah.
Once again it shows how the Lord keeps the line to the Messiah pure in spite of the bad choice of Judah of Israel
That is what the message is all about.

He died because of his sin. The law 500 years later didn't exist yet. Since the third son was too young, Tamar had to disguise her self to seduce Judah to continue his lineage. She could have been stoned to death for it. But she proved to him that he was the father, thus her life was spared, gave birth to twins, the ancestors to Jesus. Because of her actions and fulfilling God's providence, Tamar became a providential heroine who is in the lineage of Jesus.

I'm not sure if it is a sin, per se. However, I know the Holy Spirit convicts me when I engage in it. Furthermore, I find it does not bring glory to God, therefore, I will abstain from it as best I can and try to bring glory to God.

So wouldn't it still be incest if he didn't spill his semen ?

What if his brother passes away leaving some children. And the woman still young to have more, does this mean too that the alive brother continue with the production cycle

Judah's sons by his "Canaanitess" wife (1Chr 2:3 KJV), daughter of "Canaanite", Shuah (Gen 38:2)... Er, Onan, and Shelah, were 'mamzerim' (Deu 23:2)... progeny of a forbidden union according to Abraham (Gen 24:3); Isaac Gen 28:1-4); God/Moses (Deu 7:1-5); a "great trespass" per Ezra (Ezra 9): Judah was disowned (Mal 2:11-12). NO MAMZERIM HEIRS TO THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT, EVER.

What an utterly ridiculous and antiquated custom. Why the hell should Onan be responsible to or for his dead brothers wife ? Let her find another suitor just like people do in the modern world to carry on the genes for land ownership and blood line. Seems very incestuous to have a brother impregnate his brothers wife regardless of the customs of that day .

I disagree. The messiah was to come through this line so what Onan was guilty of was threatening God's plan to bring Jesus Christ into the earth.

In agreement with this whole message I bind myself, my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ of not spilling seed in one's life, while loosening myself of every unequal yoke and common share with those who spill one's seed, in accordance with genesis 38:8-10, 2 corinthians 6:14-18, matthew 6:24 and this word, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

If you are using birth control of any kind, then you are deliberately frustrating gods design of procreation. Pegasus you should focus on the BILLIONS of heterosexuals doing that instead of trying to guilt trip homosexuals.

Tamar knew she had to keep the bloodline pure, Judah having married outwith his tribe, therefore the sons were the problem, hence God killed them.
When Judah's wife died and Shelah had come of age, Tamar knew what she had to do.
Tamar must have been a pure bloodline. Just like Noah, who was righteous in his generation, Judah actually tells us Tamar was righteous also, more so than himself who had not kept his generation pure.

Plain and simple withouth any Taboo:

Telegony was known since then and it was a fact.

"Onan knew that his brother had already implanted his seed, DNA (spirit/blood) into Tamar and the offspring would not be his as his deceased brother had already impregnated her bio material (ovules) and she was only waiting to conceive". He failed to help her conceive his brother's offspring. His sin was not forgiven and his life was taken.

times haven't changed... your probably raising your exes child and you know it's true because it looks much like him!!!

You totally strawmanned the second view. You’re missing the words “birth control” for contracepting.

The sin of Onan was on his fathers head for choosing a Cannanite wife, therebye his sons were not of pure blood.
Tamar was not a Cannanite but was pure in her generations ...righteous....just like Noah. Judah actually tells us she was righteous.
