Sir if we are given a derivative and asked to take it back to the original equation, how do we solve that ?

Hi Kevin💫. I would like to ask, you said that the derivative of XY can't be found.

But cant we do this:

A= xy then A'=x

The x gets multiplied to the ys exponent 1 to become x. And then y^1-1= y^0 which equals to 1 then the
Y disappears.

And Therefore A'= x

?? Is that not correct??
