I watched this young woman as she grew from a child to an adult, often at the Grass Valley Festival where I worked as entertainment Coordinator for years, Also knew her father. It was Wonderfull seeing her musical talent develop. One thing has struck me about how this music has changed over the years. Carter and Ralph, Bill, even second generation musicians and vocalists all have performed drawing from their personal experience, from the Post WWII time until the recent past. Being almost 80 years old the older music speaks more me than this. Listening to performers with this level of talent I am reminded that I am unfamiliar with the elements of their life That motivates their music. We can no longer expect songs that spring from the Rural background that the founders experienced. We can no longer find new songs that spring from the same context that brought us Blueridge Cabin Home, Tennessee 1949 and other songs of this type. It is bitter sweet to see how the music has developed. This young woman is as talented as they come, we can't expect her to follow the tracks of Cater and Ralph, Larry Sparks, even Charlie Waller and the Country Gentlemen. I guess we old-timers will have to play the old ones ourselves and learn to enjoy this newer music, especially when it is as well done as this is; Congratulations Molly, I like what you are doing, especially the high standards you have brought to the music.. You are still in the process of forming your own sound, listen to your experience but don't forget where the music came from. God's Blessings

The guitar chops are impressive enough, but to have that beautiful voice too is amazing.

I saw Molly for the first time at Wide Open Bluegrass in Raleigh circa 2017 or 18. Since then, she has been the artist whom I have seen live the most times, even after I have moved across the country a few times. Hopefully I will be able to see her many times in the future as well!

Hello Molly,
I really like your bleugrass songs, your playing the guitar. I just saw you with no hair, and I was worried you might have cancer, so I looked into what happened to you.
Thank you for the happiness that you offer us to listen to you.
I write to you from France, met you via YouTube.
I also like Alison Krauss.

Her voice and Lindsay Lou combined with Billy Strings has seriously gotten me through a very tough personal year. It lifts me and inspires me to keep moving and building something more. I simply love them all of them for this.
