I worked for Lee as her personal assistant in the 1980's. My memories of her are of her classiness and kindness.

Makes perfect sense that she would leave her estate to her daughter.

When I think of Lee Radziwill I still can see the Wicker Casket she was laid to rest in. Talk about Class! Even in death she remained an artist. May She Rest In Peace.

Just did a quick search, Caroline Kennedy is reportedly worth at least 250 million. I don't know why her aunt would be expected to leave her money.

I've always been fascinated by the Bouvier sisters and their personal and shared stories and histories. Lee lived very well, as did Jackie, they came from wealth and left this earth all the more financially richer, lived life to the fullest, the agony and the ecstacy, love and heartbreak, that's what life is all about. Lee lived a full life, 85 is a ripe old age. As for her $50 million dollar fortune, it's her decision who gets what, and if anything, or nothing at all, hence the phrase "last will and testament", Lee had the final word. She seemed elegant and refined, I'm sure the stones that were cast her way were part cattyness, part jealousy, part haters resorting to hate, but she had an interesting life, and made life interesting... :-)

Lee's look is so fashionable and sophisticated on her small frame that she reminds me of a sixties' Barbie doll. ❤

This poor woman. I feel like she was taken advantage of by her executors. I don’t understand why she didn’t just make a simple Will and say that she leave’s everything to her daughter. 😢

Lifestyles of the rich and famous - I bet Lee wouldn't trade all the sorrows that Jackie has gone through - so much for jealousy.

I know Leigh felt that Jackie was more beautiful than she. But I disagree. She always had such a bright smile that lit her face up. Coupled with her sense of great style, Leigh had such a presence no matter what she was dressed for. As a youngster I remember seeing magazine photos of Leigh frequently. Also of Leigh and Jackie together. One an iconic photo of them after a day at the beach. Seated on the sidewalk in an out of the way area talking. They were dressed in bathing suit cover-ups . Leigh had her hair combed straight back She was tanned and gorgeous.!

I do remember Lee Radziwill wanting to help Jackie who lost Patrick and so invited her to sail in the ship that Aristotle owned. That is the only memory I have of Lee. I don't understand their competitiveness of Lee with Jackie which is disappointing since they both had so much class and charm. Lee did love her sister by helping her overcome the sad time of Jackie's son Patrick death. What was disturbing is Jack was nowhere to be found whch didn't help her over the pain of Jackie' Patrick's death.

Jealousy takes away energy best used to lift ourselves upward and forward. To be jealous of Jackie? Jackie who was married to a very charismatic man that also embarrassed her with his affairs. Jackie who lost three children. If her father was indeed favoring one child over another she should have focused her attentions on releasing the feelings he stirred within her. On her own she had more money than the average person. Both of these women were intelligent and able to reinvent themselves numerous times.

Did those two women ever eat?
How on earth did they maintain such model thin figures until their deaths?
Amazing women for fascinating reasons.
