Hey Travis, the NSR McLaren is a real gem. You will find it is painted white and then lacquered all over and so no need to paint. Mine is white. It lends itself to vinyl sticker transfers. I've got a yellow one and I have got some number squares from Ebay and combined these with a dual 2mm black vinyl stripe - again from ebay and as used on real road cars - together with some modern black stencil sponsor decals to create a modern retro feel look. I'll copy you an image or two so you can see what I mean.

The NSR McLaren 720S from Leeman is not a white kit. It is fully assembled and the white is just one of the test car paint schemes of the first release. I have the yellow version that looks painted to me so I expect the white to be painted white too
So those put off by assembling a kit will have nothing to worry about.
By all reports it may be the best performing NSR to date.

you keep saying 'retro' for things that are old... 'retro' means something new that looks old, 'vintage' is the word you are looking for... as in ' the currant Dodge Challenger has RETRO styling...'
